Keeping On

Not much new to report, which I guess isn't a surprise. Alice is walking (and running), though she doesn't know what to do when we put shoes on her. Jane is getting excited for her birthday, and we're planning on inviting three friends to play in a park (in the open area) and pack some goodies.

Andy had an infection a few weeks ago and is mostly recovered from that. He was on a strong course of antibiotics and the pain lingered, but I think it's finally gone. He also had a migraine over this past weekend. Let's all stay in good health for a while, eh?

Anyway, lots of pictures to share, so here we go!

Floor picnic
 Pieces of Jane's armor
 There's a girl in there!

Andy (months ago!) before I cut his hair
Jane playing smashy-face with one piece of a toy drum
Alice dining at the "restaurant" in our living room (complete with YouTube English castle ambience)
Chocolate cheesecake. Sadly, this was a while ago and is long-gone.

Alice reading the textbook her daddy helped write!

 Jane being Cyclops
 Alice being Clark Kent
 Andy after the haircut!
It was a little chunky in places, but I was/am quite proud of myself!
 Sisters with their snuggle buddies

Jane with the tadpoles we had for a while. They came to us from a pond, we watched and fed them for about two weeks, and then they went back.
Alice sitting in a fruit box
Jane talking on a (non-functional) phone

A wobbly tooth. Both front teeth have since gone!
A carving of a shark in a watermelon. Can you see it?

Alice is happy to be distracted by taking pictures, so we do it a lot.

Jane dressing up for Fancy Dress Fridays during PE with Joe. We've been doing PE Monday through Friday, for 18 weeks! And we're not talking what PE was when I was in elementary school! It's tough, and we've both gotten a lot stronger.

Jane at a park-party for her friend's birthday. Dancing to Shake It Off.
There is a picture of me almost just like this, so I had Jane pose.
 Alice has been framed.

 Smashy face!

The tall stalky things are potatoes that we planted when they got too sprouty to eat. But I don't know what to do next. They are currently too tall to stand and are just splayed out. If nothing else, it's been something to watch that changes relatively quickly.

A new outfit that arrived from Grandma Wendy
Jane reading The Snail and the Whale to Alice
The playgrounds opened back up. We went at 7:45 this morning to avoid seeing other people. Sanitzer was used before and after. And we washed our hands well on coming home, of course.
