In September, after applying for many many dogs, we were finally approved to adopt this beauty, Ripley (formerly Nara), who came up from Mexico.

Before Jane got enrolled in school, we went to the aquarium. It took them a bit to get her paperwork processed, so she missed the first day and the aquarium was nice and empty!

We went to a logging museum one weekend. It was a bit of a drive north on the island.
