Jane got a special birthday glass from Great-grandma Sal.  We did not make her the suggested Birthday Girl cocktail, which consists of equal parts white wine and lemon-lime soda, but she enjoyed her water anyway.

Birthday!

Picture time!

Jane had a blast blueberry picking and eating tons right off the bush.

What is this cupped-cake of which you speak?
 Want some?

Oh come on, Mom's cooking isn't THAT bad!
 Check out her elbow!

Lately she's been loving crawling the length of the couch and back.

There are literally hundreds of pictures so I might do another post if more turn up in the next few days.

Lots of pictures

Jane got an ear infection, a parting gift from last week's cold.  She's been acting OK, but her sleeping is getting worse.  She's now got three teeth up on top and two on the bottom.  Last night she peed on the bathroom floor.  Haha.

On to the pictures, in whatever order they upload in:

Pea picking a few weeks ago.

 Take a bite!
 Stopping for lunch afterward

Hey, there are some rocks in these slats.  I bet I could put them in my mouth...
 Walking with Dad
We went to a concert at the Whately library a few Saturdays ago.  She was a little too young to notice or care about the music, though I have a few songs in my head.  A lot of his songs were bilingual, which is fun for me.  Anyway, they had watermelon out, so she tried that.  I had to finish most of it.  (Ew.)

You mean I can play with Tupperware?

 All RIGHT!

We went hiking on Saturday and Jane managed to fall asleep in her pack, her head bobbing around.  She got about 45 minutes, which is pretty good!  Not pictured: the boulders over which we had to pass Brisco.
